Berawa Beach Surf – Best Surf Spot South-West of Bali

Berawa Beach Surf – Best Surf Spot South-West of Bali

West Bali

Berawa Beach is a beautiful beach with white sand that extends from Seminyak Beach and offers a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean. This beach is the most popular among surfers because of the large, powerful waves that challenge every surfer to conquer and enjoy their surfing adventures. Berawa Beach is a beach that attracts domestic tourists who want to relax and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Berawa Beach has grown in popularity as a tourist destination, and many surfers want to test the waves for surfing adventures.

As a well-known surfing spot on Bali Island, this beach offers more than two surfing spots, each of which presents a challenge to any surfer who wishes to surf in both directions, left and right.

Berawa Beach Surfing Spot

Berawa Beach is an excellent intermediate surf spot, with waves ranging from gentle and small to short barrels. When facing the ocean, three different breaks are usually visible. When the conditions are right, there is a small right-hander on your left that can produce nice barrels. In the middle, there is a longer left and a righthand wave, both of which can provide long rides. Another righthand wave can be found further out in the ocean to the right. When the swell is big enough, this wave can provide some really long rides. A steep drop-in is frequently required for take-off. From low to mid-tide, all waves work.

Barawa beach is also a great place to relax after a day of surfing, watch the sunset, and listen to live music provided by FINNS or one of the other nearby hotels. There are plenty of places on the beach that sell chilled drinks and coconuts, and you can get barbequed corn from one of the beach stands.

Berawa Beach not only offers daytime surfing, but also nighttime surfing. Every evening, FINNS beach club shines spotlights into the ocean. Night surfing is free and open to all.

Type of Wave

• Type of break – Reef/Beach break
• Wave direction – Right and left
• Best at mid tide
• Best swell – 1-6ft

Berawa Beach Location
