1. G-Land
surf in baliThis is the 2nd best surfing spot in world after Hawaii! I want to say that it is the best surfing spot in world but it's not, the 1st spot has been taken by Hawaii unfortunately, however G-Land offers international standard waves and priceless surfing pleasure!

G-Land is located in East Java, around 2-3 hours by boat from Bali, or 6-7 hours by land. We offer G-Land surfing camp for 3 to 9 days. This place is only for experienced surfer. Read More...


2. Kuta
Kuta is the place for all kind of surfer, from beginners to experience ones can surf on this long white sandy beach (around 3 kilometers long), so don't worry there are rooms for everyone. This is the beach where some surfing lessons are being held by some companies on the beach shores, but at the same time experienced surfer can get a bigger and better waves. 3. Canggu
Canggu is the extension of Kuta but the sand is more to blackish nevertheless it shares the same Waves as Kuta. Canggu is not too crowded and there are some beaches that you can go to i.e. Brawa Beach, Cemagi Beach etc. There are a lot of restaurants, clubs, mini markets etc in Kuta which makes it so crowded, but this is not the case with Canggu, it is more quite and peaceful so you won't compete with so many people when you surf nevertheless you must make sure that you bring enough water and food supplies. 4. Echo Beach
It is located in Canggu Area but there are more infrastructure on this place, such as surf board rentals, mini markets, small and big restaurants, hotels etc. Echo Beach is not as crowded as Canggu but it started to be popular among surfers from all around the world. The beach is facing to Indian Ocean so for sure you will get a good waves here. 5. Uluwatu
One of the most popular place to Surf in Bali. To get to the surfing site the surfer must walk around 300m through rocks and stones, but you will not regret doing so as Uluwatu has one of the best waves in Bali for experienced surfers. I don't recommend newbies to surf there as not just the waves are higher but also there are corrals and reefs on site. 6. Blue Point
Another good place to Surf in Bali as this place is actually a rock hill, so you need to walk down some few hundred stairs to go to the water. Along the way there are a lot of cafes and restaurants hanging on the cliff facing to the oceans presenting a spectacular view of the ocean, coral and reefs, people surfing on good waves, as well beautiful sunset. 7. Padang-padang
This beach to Surf in Bali is located not far from blue point, it is only like 3 minutes on car or motorbikes, it shares the same beach line with Blue Point but Padang-padang is easier to reach. Padang-padang beach was used in the background of a Hollywood movie with Julia Robert as the actress, the movie called Eat Pray Love. Yes it is a piece of beautiful beach with white sandy beach, the wave is not so high and no corral or reefs underneath so surfing here is good for newbies or experience surfer. Read More...


8. Medewi Beach
This beach to Surf in Bali is located a bit further from the crowd and will takes around 3 hours to get there from Kuta or Airport. Medewi Beach doesn't offer a beautiful white sandy beach to visitors but offers black sandy beach with with some river rocks on the shores. 9. Airport Reef
One of the best place to Surf in Bali but only for experienced surfer, as the wave is considered high and you can't get to the surf site on foot, but you must hire a fisherman's boat. As how it is called, this place to surf in Bali is located on Airport reefs, so you surf by the Airport where planes flying on top of you every 5 minutes, and yes there are reefs there so this place is only for experienced surfer and not recommended for newbies. 10. Toro-toro Reef
This place to Surf in Bali is also in Kuta area but can be reached only by local fisherman's boat, same method as if you want to surf in Airport reef above. Toro-toro reef is only for experienced surfer, not for beginners. This place to surf in Bali offers nice curly waves but watch out for the sharp reefs underneath. Sanur Reef is another place to Surf in Bali located in Sanur area, around 30 minutes drive from Airport. Sanur Reef is located in front of Bali Beach resort but on the beach shores, therefore you must go to Sanur reef by a local public transportation in the form of local fisherman's boat, but the trip worth the surf experience.
